Analytical thinking & problem-solving are the most important skills for my job.
Once you perfect problem-solving, it's easier to learn new technologies that come along. Change is inevitable. It's important to be aware of upcoming technologies, methodologies, & "schools of thought". I like to play with new stuff whenever possible. I try not to get too opinionated about one technology.
Fact: I first started developing during my undergrad at Northern State University, supporting MS Excel & MS Access applications written in VBA from `10-`12.

The Colorado Decision Support System (CDSS) is a collection of datasets & tools provided by the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR) & Colorado Water Convservation Board (CWCB).
HBDMC
The Hydrobase Data Management Console (HBDMC) is a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application used to perform internal business functions, including permitting, structure analysis, meter readings, & dam safety for the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR) & Colorado Water Convservation Board (CWCB).
DNR Portal
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Portal is a single sign-on (SSO) application to handle authentication for the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR), Colorado Water Convservation Board (CWCB), & Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (OGCC).
SDPC Permitting & Licensing System
The South Dakota Plumbing Commission (SDPC) Permitting & Licensing System allows users to request & pay for permits, licenses, & exam registrations.
SD UI ICON
The South Dakota Unemployment Insurance (UI) Interstate Connection Network (ICON) is a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) service for tracking interstate benefits, claims, & wages.
SDEC
The South Dakota Electrical Commission (SDEC) Console is a Windows Forms application used to manage licenses, permits, & inspections for the SDEC.
